Construction Program for those looking for work

The Construction Prep Center is still accepting applications for our Class 56 which begins January 17, 2012.  Classes are 12 weeks of intensive construction, work readiness, fitness and advanced math, reading and comprehension training.  Graduates can earn OSHA, Adult CPR/First Aid, Work Keys, Habitat Community Service, CDL-A and LEED Green Associate certifications.

 

With construction starts on the upswing, now is the prime time for your clients to receive training for the coming construction season. 

 

Who:                      Applicants must be at least 18 years old, HS diploma or GED, resident of St Louis City/County - St Clair/Madison County.

What:                     Heavy Highway, commercial and residential pre-apprenticeship training

When:                    Every Thursday at 1p.

We are conveniently accessible one-half block from the Wellston MetroLink stop.  Enrollment for Class 56 ends on Thursday, January 12, 2012.  Let’s get our folks trained so they can go to work!  Thanks everyone.
