Berean Social Services Topic – Monday, Dec 13

You are invited to attend a presentation on a topic that is so often misunderstood; however, if many families are educated, the quality and end of life would relieve stress, worry and anxiety that family members face during this difficult time of life.  Please join the Berean Congress of Christian Education Social Service Ministry this Monday, December 13, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. (weather permitting).  The topic is Hospice which
  • Affirms life.
  • Recognizes dying or "transitioning" as a process, so care provided is for comfort rather than a cure.
  • Neither hastens nor postpones death, but accepts the end of life in a dignified respectful and compassionate manner.
  • Provides physical, emotional, and spiritual care to the patient we assist with comfort and education during the most important journey of life.
  • Helps the terminally ill person maintain dignity and quality of life while helping family members through a very stressful time in their lives.
