Subject: Project Village Mentoring Program; Children with Incarcerated Parents.Christmas Adoption

Hello to each of You:

I trust that each of you are doing well.  Thanksgiving is just around the corner, and then Christmas! I wanted to give each of you an opportunity to adopt a family individually or through your Auxiliary.  These families are connected to the MBSC of Missouri Project Village Program for children with incarcerated parents.  Although the partnership has ended with NBC,USA and the National Alliance for Faith and Justice, but we have chosen to continue servicing these families with resources and services.  Listed below are the families that made request, if you wish to adopt a family or help, I will connect you to the family or share the gifts from you or your auxiliary; your request.

1.   Two boys, ages 11&13- Beds are needed

2.  Three girls, ages 16, 14, 12 - underwear and tea shirts
one boy, age 12 - underwear and tea shirts

3.  Boy, age 10 - coat (14)

4.  Girl 16, Gift Cards, Clothing size 11-12,  (everything including underwear)

5. Mother of four needs a job and school supplies for older child now at Vatterott college; I am sure she needs more, but this is all she asked for; boy 10, girl 13, 3 year old,

6.  Parents desire that the Mentors stay connected to their children.  If you need phone numbers again, please do not hesitate to contact me.

For your information, thanks to Rev. Burton Barr and West Side is providing a gift to 19 of the children that responded (we have a total of 28 children).

Thanks in advance for your support.
