You are invited to view a documentary that focuses on abuse of all women.  However, there are specific segments about poor neighborhoods in St. Louis where African American women face a lot of violence and the special circumstances of their survival of violence throughout history.  This document was produced by Community of Women, an organization formed to create awareness in the African American community about violence and abuse against African American women.  Florence McKinley the Director of Community of Women will be assisting Life Source Consultants in Domestic and Sexual Violence Outreach through July 11, 2011.  For information about Community of Women, you can contact Florence at http://us.mc1807.mail.yahoo.com/mc/compose?to=famckinley@gmail.com.
