All-In-One Male Chorus and Haiti Relief

St. Louis/Illinois

All - In One Male Chorus

The All-In-one Male Chorus met on Monday January 25th and proposed a musical for Haiti relief. We asked for God's direction as we moved forward with this. As of 9:00am this morning God has not only showed up but He's showing out! We have gotten the support of the Jennings School District and they have provided us with the Jennings High School Auditorium which seats over 800 people, We have a date and time for the event, February 27, 2010 at 3:00pm. We are contacting the radio stations to began advertising the event and my job is to compose a letter which will be mailed to every church in the St. Louis area. We are soliciting participation from singing groups and choirs for this event, there will be a free will offering taken and ALL  proceeds will go the Haiti relief. We are asking that all checks be made out to the Jennings School District who will in turn insure the funds get to Haiti through the American Red Cross and other agencies. If your singers wish to participate they must let us know by Saturday February 20, 2010, we will not be able to add anyone after that date. Now I know that some of you have never heard of the All-In-One Male Chorus so it's my duty to tell you who we are.

Near the beginning of last year three friends were talking, and the discussion turned to men in the church, and how to get them more involved in worship. These men were; Rev. Robert Moody of Bethany New Life M.B. Church, Rev. John Hope of Faith M.B. Church, and Dea. Ray Nance of Mercy Seat M.B.Church. Rev. Moody proposed that each church commit their male chorus' to support each others men's day. This was agreed upon and the first service was set for March of 2008 for Bethany New Life. This service would be held at Faith M.B. Church and rehearsals were set at Faith because the musicians at Faith had agreed to play for each group. At the very first rehearsal we had about twenty men from the three churches and it was decided that we would all sing together with lead singers from each church, we adopted the name Three-In-One. By the time of the service we had grown to over forty men, there was standing room only for the service. At our first rehearsal after the first service we agreed that this fellowship was too blessed of God to restrict it to only three churches. We put the word out that we were inviting men of God from all over St. Louis and Illinois to join us, and our name was changed to All-In-One. We have had three services so far and God continues to bless, our number has grown to over fifty men and we are looking to more than double that number before the end of this year. We will be rehearsing for this service every Monday and Thursday night beginning Monday February 8, 2010 at 6:30pm at Faith M.B. Church 4738 Natural Bridge Ave. St. Louis, MO 63115. If you want to become a part of this ministry please come out, if you know of someone that might be interested give them the information. Any one that desires to lead a song needs to bring the music on a CD or tape and a copy of the words to the song.
