The Congress 2012 Committee will have a Booth at the National Baptist Convention in Orlando, Florida the week of September the 5th. All members and those who support our effort are asked to stop by and share 30 minutes or more with Conventioneers who will be passing by the Booth. Come out and help make Congress 2012 an overwhelming success by showing our love for God’s people and our great love for Christian Education.

I trust that all are having an awesome Summer. As Social Service Ministry Chair, I will be keeping you abreast of various Christian and community education topics, events, activities and programs throughout the year. These are topics that may not affect you personally; however, someone in your family, church, or perhaps someone you may know could be affected. In any case, please share, forward or post in your various churches.
Deacon Richard Hudson, member of New Sunny Mount MB Church, former St. Louis City and County Police Officer will be doing a workshop related to Domestic Violence on Thursday, September 1, 2011 beginning at 6:00 p.m. Research shows not only women and children are affected, but our babies (teens) and older adults are affected as well. You are invited to equip yourselves with knowledge and education. Please join the Health and Wellness Ministry and our Healthy Relationships Ministry this Thursday.
We hope to see you there. I personally will be navigating two (2) different meetings but will look for you there. If you are bringing someone other than yourself, please contact the office at 389-4544 and let Reverend Crumpton know so that we will be well-prepared for your participation.

Mount Bethel Missionary Baptist Church and The Berean District Laymen Ministry will present a seminar
entitled “Are You Ready, An In-depth Guide to Citizen Preparedness” on Saturday, September 24, at 9am at
Mt. Bethel, 1600 Belt Ave. Come out and learn about hazards and disasters, and about what to do before, during,

The 1st Quarterly Board Meeting and Installation of Officers will take place on Monday, August 22, 2011 at 7:00 p.m. at Mt. Bethel MB Church, Rev. Steve Wooten, Pastor

Assessments may be paid also at the board meetings.
