Brothers in Christ,

Your presence is asked for on Tuesday August 26th, 11:00 a.m. at the Greater St. Marks church Rev. Tommy L. Pierson , Pastor. The church is located at 9950 Glen Owen Dr. St. Louis, Mo. 63136-302 (314-388-1180). The church can be seen from Chambers. It is off Chambers between W. Florissant and New Halls Ferry.

We seek to meet at greater St. Marks and then proceed to a site on W. Florissant to hold a peace rally. Our efforts and energy shall be directed towards  reconciliation and healing for one of our neighborhoods in crisis. The crisis, lest we forget, is centered around the shooting death of Mike Brown and the cauldron that birthed  the conditions that have existed in that community.

We are asking all pastors, ministers and deacons to be in attendance and to wear black suits and red ties.

IN HIS NAME!

FW: Rallies for Mike Brown

On Sunday, August 10, 2014 6:11 PM, "Molly Gott, MORE" <molly@organizemo.org> wrote:

Hi everyone,

By now, I'm sure all of you have been following the story of Mike Brown, the seventeen year-old boy who was shot and killed by a police officer in Ferguson, Missouri on Saturday. Some of our members and supporters have reached out to us to ask what you can do to support the Ferguson community during this painful time. There are three events happening over the next few days to honor Mike's life and demand increased police accountability. They are:

1. Sunday, August 10 at 8pm-- A vigil for Mike Brown at the Canfield Green Apartment Complex, 2974 Coppercreek Road, 63136

2. Monday, August 11 at 10 am-- A rally at the Ferguson Police Department, 222 S. Florissant, 63135

3. Tuesday, August 12 at 10 am-- A rally at the offices of County Prosecutor Robert McCulloch, 100 S. Central, 63105

We will continue to keep our members and supporters updated as more events unfold. We know that in times like these we need to come together, support one another, fight back, and organize.
