    Job Summary: Work as a member of a crew to install new railroad track, 
maintain existing track and right-of-way. Replace or repair track switches with 
specific components. Slide and align tie plates. Drill holes through rails for 
insertion of bolts and tighten or loosen bolts at joints that hold ends or rails 
together. Correct deviations in track surface, alignment and gauge Cut rails to 
specific lengths etc.

    Pay Rate

     Entry Rate $19.36/hour
     Full Rate $21.52/hour


    Promotional/ Advancement Opportunities: Under Maintenance of Way 
    Collective Bargaining Agreement, Track Workers may be considered for 
    Advancement or Promotion to other positions within the Engineering 
    Department if Qualified..

1004 Effective Bible Reading Rev. Nathaniel Griffin

This course identifies the appropriate methods, approaches and other suggestions on how to read the Bible for spiritual growth and Christian maturity.

2012 Articles of Faith Rev. Steven Thompson

The students will receive an introductory study of the articles of faith for Baptists, a long time standard of the church. Students will evaluate each thought with emphasis on biblical support.

2080 Missionary Education Sis. Annie Tucker

This course will introduce ways to build missionary endeavors into the total education program of the local church. Students will learn how to plan both missionary conferences and classes on the work of the mission.

5012 Becoming an Effective Deacons Dec. William Foster

This course is designed to assist the deacon in becoming aware of his biblical base. The student will be presented with ideas that will enable him to more effectively perform his duties.

6013 Organization for Christian Education Sis Erma Reid

This course will focus on the various administrative and organizational skills needed to direct the church school department. Students will learn organization skills such as planning, programming, curriculum, budgeting recruitment, supervision, delegation, evaluation.

7005 Christian Evangelism Rev. Grant Hughes

This course is designed to teach the basic steps in developing a program of evangelism. Students will discover the appropriate scripture to use and the methods and techniques to witness to the non-believer.

8019 Ministry of Church Ushering Sis. Alice Wilson

This course is designed to teach the basic elements of ushering in the church. Students will learn the basic signs, positions, and post locations commonly used in ushering within the church.

8020 Ministry of Church Nursing Sis. Barbara Steed

This is a study of the nurses’ services provided by nursing personnel in the church.

Attention will be given to the needs for this ministry, with special emphasis on the tasks of nursing involved. Health care resources and possible church health related activities will be identified, including procedure for setting up a health fair.

SEMINAR ADULTS

Strategies in Hoopology Rev. Donald McNeal

This course will teach the basic steps in reaching the climax in the message of God with excitement and zeal to get the congregation involved in the worship experience.

Role of the Ministers Wife Sis. Johnnie Clayton

This course is designed to focus the minister’s wife and her responsibilities as a Christian, a mother, wife and community servant.

Daughters of Deborah Rev. Gwendolyn Lee

This course deal with women ministers and their role to lead and preach the gospel of Jesus. This class will address topics many women ministers have not had the opportunity to discuss. What code of behavior is expected in and out of the pulpit, proper etiquette and attire? All participates will receive instruction, inspiration, and encouragement as we explore our privileges and responsibilities as women ministers.

Moral Authority of the Bible Rev. Warren Gibson

The purpose of this course is to distinguish between morals, law, and traditions. Using scripture to teach how today’s living play into our lives and moral authority as Christians. The course will challenge the believer to recognize immoral trends, fads and behaviors.

Young People

Pursuing God Age 12-15 Rev. Anthony Woods

This course of study will focus on how youth can have an intimate relationship with the Jesus. The students will be trained, taught, and transitioned on how to live, in the Word, way and will of God.

Children

Bible Story Time Age 11 and Under Sis. Rita Sodipo

This course will familiarize the students with practical study guideline in using the bible with children for story telling, role playing and general bible reading.

I’m writing to inform you that Evangelism Training will resume on Monday, September 27, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. @ Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church, Richmond Heights, Missouri.  I hope that you had a blessed summer.
